A Poetry Happy Hour will be held at 5:30 pm, Thursday, April 7, in the beer garden at Gotahold Brewing. Sandra Jackson-Opoku, an award-winning poet and novelist from Chicago, and Melan White, a Cincinnati poet, activist, and winner of the WCDH Celebrate! Maya Project fellowship for young writers on social justice issues, will be presenting their work. The event is a #TipsForTransformation fundraiser to benefit the WCDH scholarship fund and celebrate National Poetry Month.
