Learn to bake three luscious pies with Eureka Springs’ favorite chef Linda Hager owner of the renowned Cottage Inn restaurant.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, Linda will demonstrate how to create a Tarte Tatin the French upside-down apple pie, a French Silk Pie, and a Sweet Potato Pie with Praline Pecan Sauce.
Linda will take you step by step from crust to filling with instructions on how you can prepare these treats ahead of time to make Thanksgiving day so much easier. She will also have pre-prepared pies to try at the workshop so you can taste each without waiting for them to cook. Create a new tradition this year with a dessert everyone will remember for years to come.
Restaurant chef-owner Linda Hager has studied and traveled throughout Europe and her passion for the Mediterranean is reflected in her restaurant's menu. The freshness of the food and the use of many herbs is typical of Greece, Spain, France, and Italy. An extensive wine list and a variety of wines by the glass complement the dining experience at the Cottage Inn. My mantra, via Paul Bocuse, the great French chef from Lyon, is, "I love butter, cream, wine, not peas cut into quarters".
