Silver Linings Workshop

Description

The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow (WCDH) presents “Silver Linings,” instructed by Debra Kirschner, winner of the WCDH 2021 “Humor Me” fellowship. The contest was open to writers who use humor as a key element in their work. This workshop will guide writers to use life experiences as inspiration for memoir-style essays or fictional narratives. It is open to older writers of all levels and is especially appropriate for seniors who want to share fun and positive stories about themselves. Held on Saturday, May 21, 10:00 am to noon, the workshop fee of $50 will benefit the WCDH scholarship fund. To ensure the safety of all participants, WCDH COVID protocols are in effect, and registration is limited to allow for adequate distancing. Participants must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
